CityWorks is a 10 year partnership that blends the architecture and urban planning expertise of Warner Architecture + Design, Inc. and the community involvement expertise of Collaborative Services, Inc. Together, these firms work in places that need to be revitalized and redeveloped by creating plans that are supported and can move quickly into short term and long term implementation. Located in downtown San Diego, the firm is Caltrans DBE certified.

 

The firm’s philosophy is to develop sustainable urban plans that integrate a dense mix of land uses with transportation options. CityWorks’ approach to sustainable transit-oriented development is to make it unique to its context. The team accomplishes this by considering the unique opportunities and constraints of the existing physical environment, as well as the input about future improvements provided by jurisdictional staff, development teams and community stakeholders.
