CityWorks is a partnership of Warner Architecture + Design, Inc. and Collaborative Services, Inc. Warner Architecture + Design, Inc. specializes in urban planning, architecture and graphics. Collaborative Services, Inc. specializes in community involvement, press and media coordination, special event coordination and grant writing. This comprehensive set of services provides public agencies and private developers with plans that are relevant to the uniqueness of each project area, and the city and community’s goals for future improvements.
Collaborative Services, Inc.
Collaborative Services, Inc. was founded in 1995, by Catherine Smith, and began its work to help public agencies involve the community in politically sensitive and significant public works investments. Since then, the firm has worked in all project phases and a variety of project types. The firm works on projects from planning through construction. Services include: design of community involvement programs, facilitation of stakeholder meetings, open houses, public workshops, publicity and noticing, and press and media coordination.

As a partner to CityWorks, Warner Architecture + Design, Inc. works with cities and master developers using CityWorks’ community-based project methodology. Warner Architecture + Design, Inc. founded by Laura Warner, AIA, leads a team of design professionals that are trusted by their clients because they listen to client’s needs and understand the context that their projects exist within. To create appropriate design solutions, the firm’s expert staff blends an understanding of a client’s goals for schedule, budget and aesthetics, as well as the existing conditions of the site, with the staff’s technical and design expertise. The firm’s focus areas are urban planning, urban architecture of commercial districts, transportation facility architecture and graphic design.
