MTS Transit Store

BALLPARK DISTRICT WELCOMES TRANSIT STORE.

The Ballpark District continues to improve with the addition of new residential and commercial uses that surround the MTS Transit Center at 12th and Imperial. With this in mind and the need to consolidate operations, MTS decided to relocate their Transit Store to this location and also add a new restaurant to the first level of the MTS headquarter offices. Initial conceptual designs were prepared to identify the viability of locating both a Transit Store and a restaurant at this location. Phased design options were provided for restaurant types that were dependent on the timing of new residents and commercial uses coming into the area. For the Transit Store, a clean, modern design was developed that expresses the different routes and modes in the transit system, as well as incorporating the MTS brand colors and iconography. The project has been completed and is serving transit customers.
