Pure Water San Diego is a pure stroke of brilliance – to transform waste water into a new, reliable, drought-proof source of water. Repurifying water is nothing new – from the Navy to Disneyland to Orange County to the drought-hit region’s of Australia, it’s a tried and true technology making for a more sustainable world. We are on the Pure Water San Diego team as a sub-consultant to MWH Global, the firm tasked with taking Pure Water from a concept to 30% design. And, just a few short years later, new water that is Pure Water will be providing up to 30% of the City of San Diego’s water supply. Our inter-disciplinary team is working on design and outreach needs of the project from developing site plans for a future iconic, civic building where visitors can tour to see the science and monitoring behind the system to designing how to expand the demonstration facility’s pump stations to editing technical documents to developing an approach to small business outreach and contracting.
