As 2013 comes to a close, we want to wish you a happy new year and say a big thank you to all of our readers, supporters, and interviewees from this past year. We are very excited to watch what started as a passion project grow and be recognized for the topics we cover and the quality of our content. We couldn’t have done it without our loyal followers whether they are viewing our posts on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or WordPress. Each one of you is helping us expand our reach and our relevance. We are still amazed at the experts who have agreed to be interviewed and are grateful for the wisdom and insight they have shared with us.

We hope you will stay with us in 2014 as we bring you more interesting interviews on topics that will help us become better communicators. We will start the new year by exploring a subject we are passionate about – public participation. As a public outreach and communication firm we understand the value of public participation and believe it is  key to the success of any project. Whether we are providing services for projects related to transportation and infrastructure improvements, land use planning, or renewable energy and conservation, we know the one thing they all have in common is that they will create change and touch people in one way or another. Our role has always been to engage people in this ever changing world and we believe the best way to do so is by providing ample and creative opportunities for people to get involved and share their input. In January we will take a look at organizations, projects and methods that have used public participation successfully. We hope you will join us and participate yourselves by sharing your comments, questions and thoughts with us.

Have a happy and safe new year and we’ll see you in 2014!
